Compared to disposable nasal strips, nose vents obviously last longer and save you money in the long run. If you don’t lose them, that is. 😉 They also produce less waste/trash.
2. They Work Better
In addition, this small device can open up the nostrils wider. In fact, Snore Care reports a 3X improvement over the strips. That said, if the nose pieces don’t fit your nostrils snugly, they may fall out, which renders them useless.
3. They Don’t Leave a Sticky Residue
Nasal dilators don’t leave a sticky residue either. In the past, I’ve found that the strips (especially the extra strong version) leaves a small amount of the adhesive on my skin in the morning. Although not a big problem, it’s a minor inconvenience that I didn’t like.
Are Nasal Strips Any Good (or Bad) to Stop Snoring
If you suffer from sinus congestion and nasal strips haven’t worked for you in the past, you may want to test nose pieces. After all, they offer a money-back guarantee.
That said, many snorers like using these disposable strips to clear nasal passages temporarily. They say that they are simple, effective and cheap at improving breathing. I mean, you can buy a 30-count pack for as little as $7.
To increase the effectiveness of nasal strips, choose the correct size for your nose. In addition, opt for the “extra strong” version because it will stick to your nose better and open the nostrils wider.

Do You Have to Stop Snoring Entirely?
By the way, Breathe Right does state that their strips can sometimes help alleviate snoring due to a deviated septum. However, strips don’t always stop snoring entirely.
That said, I have found that sometimes you don’t have to fix snoring entirely to remedy the sound problem. A light snore may be quiet enough to not cause a problem for other sleepers.
The mechanism works to open nostrils and make the nose “bigger”. That said, they are not designed to be used for snoring due to more serious sleep apnea issues.
Nasal Strips for Sports?
Some athletes use nasal strips in sports. Even though studies don’t prove that they boost athletic performance, enlarging airways can help you breathe during strenuous exercise like football, running, etc..
What About the Snoreeze Nasal Strips Alternative?
Snoreeze Nasal Strips target snoring caused by a cold, allergies, asthma or a blocked nose (just like other products). However, they cost a little more and customer reviews I’ve seen are less than optimal.
